What we do
with your
email
This is the whole of it, in the order it matters. It is short because what we actually do is short: you tell us you would want one of these, and we keep that until we know whether to make them.
- What we keep
- Four things, all of them things you typed: your email address, the flavour you picked, why you would want one, and the note if you left it. Nothing else. We do not ask for your name and we have no way of working out who you are.
- The one email
- Filling the form in sends you a single message with a link in it, and nothing counts until you click that link. If somebody else typed your address, ignoring that message is the whole of what you have to do: no click, no list, and no second email.
- If you never click
- We keep the unconfirmed answer, marked as unconfirmed, and it stays out of every count and out of anything we ever send. We keep it because the gap between people who typed an address and people who meant it tells us something, and because deleting it would let the same address be submitted over and over. Ask and it goes, like any other.
- What it is for
- Working out whether to print the first batch, and telling you if it happens. The flavour is the part that decides the batch: it is the difference between pressing one record and pressing six. We will write when there is something real to say, which we expect to be rarely.
- Where it sits
- With Resend, the service that will also send the emails, on servers in Ireland. It never leaves the European Union. We picked the European region on purpose rather than taking the American default.
- Who else sees it
- Nobody. It is not sold, not shared, not handed to an advertiser, and not used to build a profile of you anywhere. There is no third party in this beyond the one named above, which stores it on our behalf and does nothing else with it.
- How long
- Until the project either happens or is called off, and then not after that. If it is called off, the list is deleted rather than kept around in case something else comes up later.
- Cookies
- None. This site does not set a single one, so there is no banner to click through. We do count visits, through Vercel, but that count is anonymous and aggregate: it tells us how many people opened the page, not who they were, and it does not follow anyone between visits or between sites.
- Getting out
- Write to info@pizzavinile.com and say so. It is one command on our side and it is done the same day. You can also ask what we hold on you, or to have it corrected, and we will answer with the actual record.
- Who is asking
- Pizza Vinile is one person in Italy, not a company: the project is in validation and nothing is on sale. That person is responsible for what happens to your data and answers at info@pizzavinile.com. Ask there for the name and the registration details and you get them by return.
